Cool Free Stuff: Drop The Lime- Devil's Eyes (Diplo's B-Live Mix)

This tune has floated around the Internet and various blogs for a little while now, but I can say that of all the remixes circulating of this track, originally by fellow Bacardi B-Live member Drop the Lime, Diplo’s is the strongest. Although the main vocal hook of both the original and this version are a little too “indie” for my tastes, people will still eat this up; in fact, Diplo’s signature chopping and mangling of the chorus helps keep it stuck in my head for a few seconds longer. The live band/rock feel is also echoed in the percussion, opting to use tweaked sounds of a real drum set as opposed to a drum machine. Fits in just fine in an electro or mash-up set!
