Site updates and BIG thanks for an awesome June!

I just want to send out a major thanks to everyone who has been checking out/supporting Beantown Boogiedown; the amount that this place has been growing over the past several weeks has been tremendous and exceeded what my wildest expectations were even a few months ago. You can count on it that the content will continue to flow and that tons of happenin' events in the area will continue to get promoted on here. For the month of June we had over 1200 unique visitors. So big ups to all 1200 of ya ;)
So without blabbing on about numbers and stats and shit, I just want to send out some announcements in regards to some tweaks I'll be making here over the course of the next month.
The calendar section was added a few weeks ago and thus far really like Google's flexibility with adding events and publishing. I wish there was some calendar device that you could synch up with a mobile device (iCal works but I don't want to alienate the Windows/Blackberry/etc massive) but for what it is I've been happy thus far. Promoters do not hesitate to drop a line if you want your events added to the calendar (let alone flyers and such).
On the sidebar I am going to add a section below all of the other navigational elements that is a "me" section, one area of which will have my DJ mixes and original production, another will have samples of my design work. Basically a portfolio. I want to host my content but keep it out of the way of interfering with all the other things I post and make it more of a transparent element. The 9:59 section is going to get moved under here as well. By the end of july I plan on having EVERY dj mix I have ever recorded (there's probably around 25-30 of them) posted and made easily accessible on here.
Another section I am going to add is a "lifestyles" section that posts pics and small blurbs on stuff like music outside the realm of EDM, fashion, cars, art, architecture, that sort of stuff. It won't be a major focus of the site but something that the average visitor can enjoy and a lot of it makes for good filler material.
Two big requests I've been getting from people: more sketchpad posts, and more T-shirts. I'm working on both, and am looking into channels to sell the shirts outside of Cafepress. Just trying to think of some edgy/flashy designs to come up for future shirts!
So that being said, thanks again for the support, now get out there and hit up the parties! Heidi tomorrow, Concord Dawn thursday, Desyn Masiello boat cruise and Mark Farina friday, and Dancing on the Charles II saturday- we have a busy weekend ahead of us!!

Thanks Amanda! I think I jinxed myself though...today's been my slowest day on here in months, haha.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, BBD podcast series from different local DJ's in the area on the way soon as well!
