Dubbel Dutch Makes His Boston Debut, Enormous Room, Thurs 9.9.10

Texas based producer Dubbel Dutch has expressed interest in playing Boston for a minute now, and there are a slew of dance music junkies here who have him pegged high on their wishlists of up-and-coming DJ/producers to see in 2010. This thursday he touches down at Enormous Room courtesy of the SUBduction crew!

To isolate Dubbel Dutch’s music and influences to a single genre or style would be an impossible task. His sound combines a ton of different styles, as evidenced from tracks like “Throwback”, which include everything from drum-and-bass breaks at 130bpm, house vocals edited in 4x4 garage fashion, and a general UK funky feel to top it all off. Both of his EP’s have been released on Palms Out Sounds, a respected label that caters towards cutting-edge producers. He has been in close contact with many associates from across the pond, including Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990, so get ready for more quality content from him. He’s only getting started.

Pete Dev/Null (who will be juggling this along with Elements across the street!!) and Wheez-IE are opening, cover is $5, and Enormous Room is 21+.
