Cool Free Stuff: Discosocks-Lifetime (Disco House)

Strangely enough, I don’t think I’ve ever blogged about a disco house tune before. Hey, there’s a first time for everything. Have a listen to this freebie posted by Discosocks yesterday afternoon. Nothing like hearing an innocent feel-good melody backed by a little slap bass and, strangely enough, some chipmunked vocals on “Lifetime”. The label that released it, Heavy Disco, has been around since 2004, so I’d assume they’re pretty well established by now.

I’ve got a very good feeling we’re going to see a huge revival of disco-influenced music over the course of the next year. Consider this your wake-up call!
