Some historic events have happened in Boston over the past couple hundred years. For starters, there’s the Boston Tea Party. Then there’s the whole Battle of Bunker Hill thing, the seige, then several hundred years later, the Patriots celebrating an almost undefeated season in 2007. ALMOST. Then there was the night when Goodlife actually hosted THREE separate parties under one roof. Yep. This is one party that is going to go down in the history books, folks. A-list dubstep talent from the UK (SCUBA), alongside this city’s biggest mash-up night (Bootie Boston) as well as the first time they’ve actually had a DJ playing in the front bar with the Milk and Honey crew at the helm. If any kind of dance music is your thing, just go to this. You won’t be sorry.

Without merely just copy-pasting the info for this fiasco, just know that it has been short-listed as a recommended party you should be at on Resident Advisor! The headliner has also gotten custom M&M’s pressed up sporting his face on them. That is a FIRST for a New England party. Get there early, not only will the cover be cheaper and you won’t be waiting in an a painfully long line, but you might just score yourself a free mix CD from the Bootie Boston crew. Just a quick reminder of some of the things going on at Goodlife this week- they've got quite a busy schedule going on right now with parties almost every night of the week. This week is Bootie Boston's monthly on Friday, Fresh Produce on saturday, along with BASSIC's 2-year anniversary tomorrow!

Bootie Boston 1-year anniversary @ Goodlife- Party Ben!

The Bootie Boston mash-up crew will be in full effect celebrating the first anniversary of their Goodlife monthly on May 22. Anyone who has been to a Bootie party knows these guys go all out- they turn the entire basement of Goodlife into a pirate ship with the decor. If you pay close attention to the songs being mashed up, you will know that their DJ's put a ton of thought into what tracks they superimpose against eachother to ensure maximum crowd reaction!

For their anniversary party they're bringing in Party Ben from San Francisco. Definitely recommend checking out his website; he has a ton of mash-ups available on there for download in MP3/320kbps. And he's allegedly working on putting together a promo mix that he will be handing out at Goodlife!

Bootie Boston party is tonight! To pre-game for it, be sure to toss in the Ziggy Stardust Remixed project they did. It's pretty damn good, especially if you just so happen to be a David Bowie fan.

Bootie Boston: New mash-up monthly at Goodlife!

Just got word of a new monthly happening at Goodlife, the first throwdown being Friday April 24th! It's a mashup themed event so expect to hear almost anything played, I'm sure there will be a little something for everyone. There have been a number of one-off mashup based events around Boston in the past and what's great about them is the diverse crowd they tend to attract. And Goodlife has been one of the best spots to host weekend dance-music based events, so it's definitely a good look on BootieBoston's part to hold their monthly there!
