The 2nd edition of GOOD NEWS! comes with not one, but two dj’s playing back to back.
Beep Iams is a product of Chicago and currently resides in NYC. As a former drum’n’bass dj, he applies the same fast paced, energetic sets with electro and house music.
Back again is DJ Die Young who switches it up from the minimal and techno he usually plays at Make it New, to feel good house, funk, and hip hop. His tracks are always on tune and in time.
Representing club music from the U.S. Capital, Tittsworth continuously dominates crowds with his signature blend of energetic dance music. A favorite from Asia to Australia, his tours are increasingly well received in spaces both large and small. Tittsworth has packed clubs in Sao Paulo, where he is known for extended late night sets resulting in encore and applause. Titts was part of Good Vibrations, a 40,000+ traveling festival featuring Kanye West, Cypress Hill, The Rapture, Pharoahe Monch, A-trak, Sinden, Kid Sister and a myriad other A-list acts. In Geneva he co-headlined a 3 day festival featuring Mr. Scruff, A-trak, Medhi, Boy 8-Bit, Jackbeats and many more. His last trip to Europe, Tittsworth headlined a huge night out in London with Herve, Duke Dumont, Foamo and A1 Bassline. This most recent New Years Eve, he was seen smashing a massive LA crowd along the legendary likes of Moby, Dirty South, Oakenfold and Benassi.
From URB and XLR8R to NME and Fader, his production continues to gain equally high praise. Titts music is a permanent fixture in blogs, charts and DJ sets. He has been asked to remix pop icon Kanye West, disco legend Grace Jones, DNB front runner Subfocus, Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label and AC Slater’s Party Like Us Records to name a few. He has gained critical acclaim from Interscope Records, who personally invited him to Will.I.am’s house to showcase well-received Titts tracks.
“12 Steps,” Tittsworth’s debut album was released on Plant Music (co-owned and released by Dominique Keegan and Stretch Armstrong, the man responsible for breaking many greats, including The Wu Tang Clan). The unique concept LP features original Tittsworth production through collaborations with blog buzzer ‘Kid Sister,’ hyphy vets ‘The Federation,’ and chart toppers ‘Nina Sky’ and ‘Pitbull.’ Even before its release, “12 Steps” received high praise from Billboard, BPM, Kiss, Radio 1, Entertainment Times and more. The album continues to have both originals and remixes on Ministry Of Sound Radio, Kiss FM (London) / Radio One and more. Included is his original track “WTF” (with assistance by the Nadastrom Remix), which remains a heavyweight set favorite around the world.
Forthcoming is a massive remix for Dim Mak, a second full length album, a big project to be unveiled in DC and of course, non-stop touring. Titts was recently offered a deal from Last Gang, partially responsible for helping to expose MSTRKRFT and Crystal Castles. Tittsworth maintains his status as one of the hardest working and possibly one of the most sleep deprived artists in the game.
TITTSWORTH “12 STEPS” ALBUM AVAILABLE NOW All original tracks, with vocals by Kid Sister, Nina Sky, Pitbull, The Federation, DJ Assault and more!!!
“From the first strains of ‘Haiku’—an opening instrumental that merges the acid squelches of early rave with an insistent breakbeat and—yes!—congas—it’s obvious that this guy’s aesthetic is so clear to him that mixing disparate elements is a breeze.” - Billboard
“Strong contender for party album of the year, anyone looking for their next fix of dancefloor heaven will say yes, yes, yes if this rehab is anything to go by.” -Yahoo Music
“Tittsworth shows with conviction that he doesn’t just recycle songs - he creates them… The verdict? Tittsworth should be proud, Twelve Steps is, at its end, a mighty accomplishment for both its maker and his genre” -URB
“Finally, (Tittsworth) crafted a debut that will prove his skills on the production end. Twelve Steps, is a trip through a land of gritty breaks, dirty lyrics, and plenty of guest appearances… Fun is the first priority here, and in that area, not to mention numerous others, Tittsworth more than succeeds.”-XLR8R
“Not since the happy pills took hold and Pharrell emerged has it been so lively, with such rich crossover potential, yet without cost to its creativity.” -Entertainment Times UK

Just a quick reminder of some of the things going on at Goodlife this week- they've got quite a busy schedule going on right now with parties almost every night of the week. This week is Bootie Boston's monthly on Friday, Fresh Produce on saturday, along with BASSIC's 2-year anniversary tomorrow!
Bangin' bootleg bash featuring a 100% mashup video set from DJ/VJ TRIPP!Tripp is a veteran of the California mashup scene and one of the US's top mashup artists.
With sets from resident dj BC, and the lovely and talented LENLOW! Plus a set from Bootie DJ SPENCER 4 HIRE and a kick-ass LIVE Midnight Mashup Show from soul vocalist KATIE ENLOW!
The Bootie Boston mash-up crew will be in full effect celebrating the first anniversary of their Goodlife monthly on May 22. Anyone who has been to a Bootie party knows these guys go all out- they turn the entire basement of Goodlife into a pirate ship with the decor. If you pay close attention to the songs being mashed up, you will know that their DJ's put a ton of thought into what tracks they superimpose against eachother to ensure maximum crowd reaction!
For their anniversary party they're bringing in Party Ben from San Francisco. Definitely recommend checking out his website; he has a ton of mash-ups available on there for download in MP3/320kbps. And he's allegedly working on putting together a promo mix that he will be handing out at Goodlife!

Just got word of a new monthly happening at Goodlife, the first throwdown being Friday April 24th! It's a mashup themed event so expect to hear almost anything played, I'm sure there will be a little something for everyone. There have been a number of one-off mashup based events around Boston in the past and what's great about them is the diverse crowd they tend to attract. And Goodlife has been one of the best spots to host weekend dance-music based events, so it's definitely a good look on BootieBoston's part to hold their monthly there!
