Rolex and Tudor postpone 2021 watch launch indefinitely

admin 12/02/2020

Normally, all the news from the first day of Baselworld would be overshadowed by Rolex, as Rolex unveiled every new fake watch it had made for an entire year at its stand. Other brands barely got a chance to see it, as collectors, retailers, and the press all talked about what they saw.
The Coronavirus first brought down the world’s largest watch fair and then forced the entire Swiss watch industry into lockdown along with most of the developed world.
Rolex and Tudor told their authorized dealers and the media in March that 2021 collections would still be revealed on what would have been day one of Baselworld this year.
“Following the cancellation of Baselworld 2021 in March due to the Covid-19 situation, we had stated previously that we would unveil our new products at the end of April and scheduled a large number of press briefings to showcase them.
“In view of the continuing extremely hard context affecting the whole world, and in order to protect people by avoiding gatherings and one-to-one meetings, we have determined to delay of the announcements to a later date. We have currently not defined a new timing for our release; we will reach you in due time with more details.”
Planning for the release of 2021 replica watches has given way to more important work to keep people and businesses secure. “Our priority at this moment in time is to stand with people and provide help and support in the best way possible. As such, we are focusing on supporting our partners and working with multiple organizations that are committed to fighting Covid-19.” The statement concluded. Patek Philippe, meanwhile, has already revealed that it has delayed the launch of its entire 2021 collection until the coming new year of 2021.
